Dr. S Shanmugam, is the founder director of Coldchain Controls, now Coldchain Controls India Pvt. Ltd

Dr. Shanmugam’s passion to provide storage solutions for Temperature Sensitive Products like Vaccines, Hormones, Insulins & Immunoglobulins etc. led to the inception of ‘Coldchain Controls’ in 2008. With experience of over three decades in the healthcare industry, Coldchain actively participated in the Government of India’s Covid -19 vaccine distribution program.

Coldchain Controls was conferred with a National Quality Award in 2006, from the Central Government for following Quality Vaccine Distribution Practices. Dr. Shanmugam has conducted several awareness programs about dos & don’ts of managing an unbroken cold chain supply to its stakeholders.

Dr. Shanmugam takes care of the operations, production, research and new product development.
